The Emporia Public Library has two meeting rooms available for the public. We do not charge for the use of the rooms. The rooms are to be used for not-for-profit groups. The purpose of the meeting should be to inform, not to sell or make money, therefore, the meeting must be open to the public and the attendees must not be assessed a fee. The rooms must be booked in advance.


Equipment available for the meeting rooms (must request items):

  • Computer projector
  • Sound speakers & wireless microphone
  • DVD player
  • Laptop

Small Meeting Room

The small meeting room has a 65" television with a remote HDMI connection and a conference table that seats eight people comfortably. The room is located on the second floor.  
 


Large Meeting Room

The large meeting room has track lighting and a large projector screen for presentations. The room seats 60 people in chairs comfortably. Several different table/chair configurations are possible.


Kitchenette

A kitchenette is located by the Large Meeting Room.  It is equipped with a coffee maker and refrigerator. No food may be cooked on site, but food and drinks may be brought in by meeting organizers or outside caterers.
