A gift of Dr. Laurence and Betty Boylan, the Emporia Public Library provides three rooms for private reading and study, small group tutoring, and small meetings. These rooms are available to the public. One of the rooms is available on a first-come, first-serve walk-in basis. Two of the rooms may be reserved up to one month in advance.
To make a reservation, contact the Public Service Desk by phone at (620) 340-6450 or in-person (on the second floor).
Keys are available at the Public Services Desk when a reservation is made or verified.
Study room 200 includes Wi-Fi access and a whiteboard. The room seats up to four people. The room also includes one window overlooking our courtyard.
Study Room 201 includes Wi-Fi access and a whiteboard. The room seats up to four people. This is the only room out of the three that is ADA accessible. The room also has a window overlooking our courtyard.
Study Room 202 includes Wi-Fi access and a whiteboard. The room seats up to four people. The room has two windows overlooking our courtyard, municipal auditorium, and downtown Emporia.
